Tomasz is a wonderful dancer, teacher, and friend, who was last in Copenhagen to teach blues in 2018, and fusion at the CPH Fusion Festival in 2022.

What: A full weekend with 10 hours of blues dancing workshops!

Level required: You know the basics of Blues couples dancing (e.g. you have attended Blues 1 for two rounds)

ABOUT TOMASZ PRZYTYCKI
Thomasz started dancing blues over fifteen years ago in Austin, Texas. Thomazs started off purely improvising, but soon afterward he became aware and started appreciating the root of the dance in blues idiom dances. Since have he sustained the twin approach of exploring movement to blues music (and sometimes other music) on his own while also reaching back into the black roots of the music and dance. He have dabbled and taught modern concepts such as micro-blues and drag blues, and fused it with other forms, but find it important to communicate the foundation of blues idiom dances and to try some vernacular movement to blues music as well. Thus in our classes, we will focus on three things: blues idiom foundations, improvisation and movement, philosophy, and technique that is acquired and developed which makes us enjoy dancing blues.
