Who: Mitó
What: Mitó – a professional, Mozambican dancer who since 2011 has been working to connect Swing Dance to its African roots. Mito has been teaching workshops at Herrang also.
In this half of one-day workshop, you will be taught some Afro Swing. Focusing on the roots of Swing will give you a wider bodily vocabulary, and a greater understanding of why we in Swing Dance move as we do. Mitó focuses on the togetherness in the dance, and we promise you will leave happy, tired, and with a smile on your face.
No level of dancing is required, as we all are beginners in this class.
