SwingShoes 25th Anniversary Party

25 years ago, SwingShoes was founded as Denmark’s first volunteer-run swing dance organization.
Since then, SwingShoes has grown into the largest swing dance association in the country, dedicating time, energy, and passion to creating unforgettable experiences. The joy of dancing and teaching remains as strong today as it was on day one.
That’s something worth celebrating – and we hope you’ll join us on September 20, 2025 in Arbejdermuseet’s beautiful banquet hall.

We will also sprinkle the program with a couple of fun games and shows – more on that later!

The Hot Swing Sextet

From Paris to Harlem, from Django Reinhardt to Duke Ellington and Louis Armstrong – Hot Swing Sextet has crafted a tailor-made journey, heading straight into the heart of swing.

With Hot Swing Sextet, you will experience six young musicians full of energy and good humor – and lots of experience playing for dancers at Dragon Swing, Savoy Cup, and Studio Hop, just to mention a few.

Seks mænd i jakkesæt stimler entusiastisk sammen og spiller på trompet, deres ansigter er animerede og udtryksfulde, og en af mændene har en høj, sort hat på. Baggrunden er mørk og fremhæver deres livlige samspil.
