Lindy 7/8 – Creative exploration and classic steps
In this course, Sigrid & Eiki will explore creativity, self expression and connection, mixed with classic Lindy Hop vocabulary.
Alongside classic elements from the Lindy Hop vernacular, including partnered sequences, iconic steps, and rhythmic variations, they’ll focus on how to make familiar concepts feel fresh and spontaneous.
Sigrid & Eiki will share concepts and exercises designed to support improvisation within the partnership. You’ll explore how both dancers can influence, suggest, and respond to movement, creating a more dynamic and playful dialogue on the dance floor.

About Eiki
Eiki has been teaching social dancing since 2008, including regular classes in Iceland, then Germany & since 2015 in Copenhagen. After getting into Lindy Hop in Iceland in, Eiki quickly dove into other dance styles, like Solo Jazz, Boogie Woogie, Salsa, Blues and Balboa. Eiki strives to create a relaxed and fun atmosphere while using a methodical approach to help students reach new swing dancing heights.
