Spins, turns and flow
In this class, Stine and Libor will work on the technique that makes you better at spinning and turning in your dance without compromising on flow and connection.
Stine and Libor first met in a musicality class years ago. They love social dancing together, where they tell jokes and take turns surprising each other.

Questions and answers
Do I need a partner?
You can sign up both with and without a partner. Most people sign up without a partner.
If you sign up with partner, then you both are guaranteed a spot. If you don't sign up with a partner, then you'll initially be put on a waiting list - and we're approving sign-ups, to ensure a proper balance between follows and leads.
Besides... In the classes, we rotate partners every 2-3 minutes or so.
If you prefer not to, then you can try and talk to the teachers, - but swing dancing has partner rotation at it's core.
Do I need special shoes?
As a beginner, your choice of shoes is less important. Initially, the amount of spins and twists are limited. As you get better, it's smart to figure out the right shoes for you, which also depends on your style of dancing, etc.
The best you can do is to ask your teachers about it.
Do I need to have dancing experience?
Nope! Beginner means beginner.
Do I need to have rhythm to dance?
Nope. You can easily learn that as we go. Everybody picks it up, and improves with every lesson they take.
How does a class usually work?
This varies from teacher to teacher. In generel, this is what happens:
- Lessons are 1 hour and 15 minutes long.
- You show up and do a slow warm-up: Often with some focus on musicality.
- Afterwards the teachers have picked out a figure or a concept. It can be taught in many shapes and forms.
- You then get a bit of instructions, and then you try it yourself - often with a partner. After a couple of minutes, then you high five the partner you have danced with and rotate partners, and then try it with someone else.
- The teachers walk around and help people out.
What is the difference between classes and workshops?
Classes are how we refer to 'weekly classes', which runs in rounds. A round is usually between 7 and 8 weeks, - and during those weeks there will be classes on the same day, during the same timeslot. You can see the list of lessons on the product page for the class, or on your 'My Account'-page.
Workshops are one-time events.
