How did you start dancing?

Went to one of SwingShoes beginners workshops in Lindy Hop and absolutely fell in love with the world of swing dancing. It all evolved from this very first experience and I now dance a broad selection of swingdancers, ‘The Dancers Dance’ Balboa being my number one passion.

What do you love most about teaching?

Conveying the many facets of the dancing world, the dialogue we have in the class setting and experiencing the eureka moments together with my students.

What does swing dancing mean to you?

A world filled with all things incredible : from community, belonging, learning and growth to history, creativity, joy and playfulness.

What’s your favourite jazz song or artist?

What a little moonlight can do with Billie Holiday, Flash with Harry James and so many more.
