How did you start dancing?

I was introduced by a friend who had danced for a long time. He brought me to a party with a taster. I could not do any of the steps at the following party but I enjoyed the energy so much that I decided that this was something I wanted to do!

What do you love most about teaching?

The motivation it gives myself to improve my own dancing.

What does swing dancing mean to you?

For me it is a physical outlet, the music encourages fast movements and happy high energy which i enjoy.

What’s your favourite jazz song or artist?

My favorite jazz song is currently Roll'Em by Bernert Berkhout. I have been working on my solo jazz and this song has been playing on repeat.

Fun fact or secret talent?

I am a big nerd at heart and enjoy anything fantasy or sci-fi.
