How did you start dancing?

I thought it was about time to try something new and get some exercise while having fun. I started out with Lindy Hop but Balboa quickly stole my heart.

What do you love most about teaching?

To me teaching is a transaction where both teacher and student are in a process of learning and growing with the experience as you discover new ways of doing things.

What does swing dancing mean to you?

A wonderful place to express yourself and connect with other people in a language that doesn’t require words.

What’s your favourite jazz song or artist?

It’s all about variation and one of them is lyrics in different languages.

Fun fact or secret talent?

I struggle with cross coordinating arms and legs that’s why I need a dance partner to hold my hands most of the time;)
