Four “Social Dance Closers” wanted for Thursday nights

• Then this is exactly what you’re looking for!

We’re seeking 4 reliable volunteers to take responsibility for closing down after our Thursday social dancing nights. We’ll coordinate everything through our SwingShoes Slack, making it easy to communicate with the board about questions, schedule changes, illness, or those occasional ‘venue maintenance’ situations.

You’ll get a thorough guide and great training to ensure you’re completely prepared.

The actual work is simple – anyone can manage the closing tasks, which take 15 to 30 minutes. What we really need is coordination and people willing to take ownership. We’re hoping to find dancers who genuinely love staying until that last song and making sure our space is properly closed up.

Social dancing is the beating heart of our swing community, and we’re thrilled when people want to take on more responsibility. But it’s also completely fine if you just want to help with closing duties and enjoy those discounted classes! 😊
