Sunday Swing – Social Dance

Lace up your swing shoes and join the fun at Kulturhuset Indre By this Sunday! Sunday Swing is a social dance - no class, no teacher, just great swing music and a floor full of people who are there for exactly the same reason as you: to dance.

Come alone, come with friends, come as you are. No partner needed - most people walk in on their own. Ask someone for a song or two, say thank you, and find someone new. By the end of the afternoon you'll have danced with old friends and new faces alike.

All levels are welcome. Whether you took your first lindy hop workshop last week or have been dancing swing for years, there's a spot for you on the floor. Lead, follow or both - and if you'd rather move on your own, solo jazz fits any swing tune just fine.

A few small things keep the floor a happy place:

• Ask freely, and take a "no thank you" with a smile - it's never personal.
• Dance to your partner's level, and keep your moves small when it gets crowded.
• Come fresh, go easy on the perfume, and bring a spare shirt - it gets warm out there.
