Fast Feet Social Dance (Balboa/Shag)

Lace up your dancing shoes and join us for a night of balboa and shag at Krystalsalen! Fast Feet Social Dance is exactly what it sounds like - no class, no teacher, just great swing music and a floor full of people who are there for one reason: to dance.

Come alone, come with friends, come as you are. No partner needed - most people walk in on their own. Ask someone for a song or two, say thank you, and move on to someone new. By the end of the evening you'll have shared the floor with familiar faces and some you've never met before.

All levels are welcome on the Thursday floor. Whether your first balboa workshop was last week or you've been dancing for years, there's room for you. Lead, follow or both - and if you'd rather move on your own, solo jazz fits any swing tune just as well.

A few small things keep the floor a happy place:

• Ask freely, and take a "no thank you" with a smile - it's never personal.
• Dance to your partner's level, and keep your moves small when it gets crowded.
• Come fresh, go easy on the perfume, and bring a spare shirt - it gets warm out there.
