Fast Feet Social Dance (Balboa/Shag)

Lace up your balboa shoes and join us for a night of swing dancing in Krystalsalen! Fast Feet Social Dance is exactly what it sounds like - no class, no teacher, just great swing music and a floor full of people who all want the same thing: to dance the night away.

Come alone, come with friends, come as you are. No partner needed - most people arrive on their own. Ask someone for a song or two, say thank you, and move on to someone new. By the end of the evening you'll have shared the floor with old friends and new faces alike.

All levels are welcome. Whether you had your first balboa workshop last week or have been shaggin' it out for years, there's a place for you here. Lead, follow or both - and if you'd rather keep it to yourself, solo jazz fits any swing tune just fine.

A few small things keep the floor a happy place:

• Ask freely, and take a "no thank you" with a smile - it's never personal.
• Dance to your partner's level, and keep your moves small when it gets crowded.
• Come fresh, go easy on the perfume, and bring a spare shirt - it gets warm out there.
