Fast Feet Social Dance (Balboa/Shag)

Lace up your best shoes and join us for Fast Feet Social Dance - an evening of balboa and shag at Krystalsalen. No class, no teacher, no programme: just great swing music and a floor full of people who love to dance.

Come alone, come with friends, come as you are. A partner is not required - most people walk in on their own. Ask someone for a song or two, say thank you, and move on to someone new. By the end of the night you'll have shared dances with familiar faces and brand new ones.

All levels are welcome on the Thursday floor. Whether last week was your very first workshop or you've been dancing balboa for years, there is a spot for you. Lead, follow or switch between the two - and if you feel like dancing on your own, solo jazz fits any swing tune just fine.

A few small things help keep the floor a happy place for everyone:

• Ask freely, and accept a "no thank you" with a smile - it is never personal.
• Match your moves to your partner's level, and keep things compact when the floor gets busy.
• Come fresh, go easy on the perfume, and pack a spare shirt - it will get warm out there.
