Boogie Woogie
Boogie Woogie dance is rooted in Lindy Hop but created it’s own style in the 80s. The music used is rhythm and Blues, rock and roll, doo wop and jump.
Boogie Woogie is known for its playfulness with breaks, rhythm and interpretation and fast footwork.
Officially there is two ways of dancing it: Slow or Fast. Now a days we also dance to social tempo.
Boogie Woogie is known for its infectious and joyful atmosphere : you come smiling, you leave smiling.
Our passionate local instructors guide you to find the groove, play with rhythm and breaks, and build the dynamic partnership that makes Boogie Woogie such a fun and social experience in Copenhagen’s swing community.
