Our teachers
-
Ida
Ida discovered Lindy Hop at Tuesday Swing and fell for the community first. She loves seeing dancers’ faces light up when moves finally “click.” A Cats & Dinosaurs fan, she’s allergic to grape pits and always aims to make her students smile during warm-up!
-
Stine
Stine started Lindy Hop at 22 with an old friend and couldn’t stop laughing. For her, it’s playfulness, freedom, and community – lucky adults having space for play! She loves sharing dance joy and seeing students click. Currently loving Ella’s comedic jazz stylings and Eyal Vilner’s energy. Former trumpet player!
-
Helena
Helena discovered Lindy Hop when she moved to a new city and googled dance classes, choosing the one with the best music. It’s expression, connection, and endless learning. She loves watching students grow and discover new moves. A fan of “Clarinet Creole,” she secretly loves organizing and won a Bugg competition at 11!
-
Trine
Trine started with salsa at 19, then blues whirled her in. It’s music, movement, and connection—switching between big energy and tiny movements. She loves shared exploration in teaching. Fan of Beth Hart’s “Jazz Man,” she played violin for ten years!
-
Sigrid
Sigrid has danced since she could walk—now it’s her profession. She found Lindy Hop in Aalborg. It’s play, expression, healing. She loves seeing students light up when moves click. Fan of Ella Fitzgerald, she dances until 9 AM at festivals!
-
Namiko
Namika discovered Lindy Hop at a Copenhagen festival and never looked back. It’s joy, freedom, and connection beyond words. She loves seeing dancers light up in class. A big fan of Mary Lou Williams, she only started dancing after moving from Japan in her thirties – party meant karaoke back then!
